Data Science Internships at GLD
Do you want to experience being part of a research team and work with data that promotes human welfare globally? We are currently looking for highly motivated, self-driven interns with advanced IT skills. Knowledge of statistical programs, such as R, Matlab, Python, C++, C#, Java and SQL-scripts is an advantage. As an intern you will be an important part of our team and will be given the opportunity to obtain practical experience in working with a research project within academia.
Tasks vary in terms of project needs. Current tasks include: quality control checks, data cleaning, running and managing GLD survey data and other data sources. Other assignments include data coding, assisting various research projects with modeling, analysis and diagnostics, creating figures of research results for reports, articles and other publications.

In order to apply, you should be a student currently enrolled in a master’s program or enrolled at the unemployment agency with at least a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Political Science, Economics, IT or related field.
