Hanna Andersson

Hanna Andersson is a Research Intern at GLD. She is currently undertaking a Master’s Degree in Development Studies at Lund University. Hanna also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from Lund University. Her area of interest lies broadly in development, particularly questions regarding sustainable development and integration.

Linnéa Nirbrant

Linnéa is a research intern at GLD whilst studying the Master´s program in Human Rights at the University of Gothenburg. She holds a Bachelor´s degree in Global Studies from the University of Gothenburg and has studied International Relations at Dublin City University. Her research interests include local development, global health and gender equality.

Lucas Fischer Madsen

Lucas Fischer Madsen is currently studying the Master’s programme in Political Science at the University of Gothenburg. During the autumn semester of 2021, he will be joining the data team at GLD as an intern. Through his studies, Lucas has developed an interest in corruption, local development and statistical analysis within the scope of political science. During his time at GLD, he hopes to further his knowledge in statistical analysis, data management and data cleaning.

Mariana Cardoso

Mariana is an intern in GLD in the Research Department while being a second-year master student in the Economic Development track of the Masters in Economic Growth, Population, and Development at Lund University. Before starting her master's she studied a Bachelor's in Economics at the University of Porto where she developed an interest in Economic History and Development Economics.

During her studies, she was able to develop an interest in the role of institutions and the state in development as well as governmental transitions from a historical perspective.

Sinamis Doughouz 

Sinamis Doughouz is an intern within the SIPGI project (Social Institutions, Political Governance and Integration). She is a Master’s student in the International Program for Technology and Learning at the University of Gothenburg. Sinamis has an MA in International and Comparative Education from the American University in Cairo and a BA in English Language and Literature from Damascus University. She is interested in integration issues and digital solutions for learning.
