Forced Migration and Local Outcomes: A Global Perspective
Global displacement is at an all-time high, with most refugees, asylum seekers, and internally displaced people living in less-resourced countries of the Global South. This webinar features academics and practitioners focusing on displacement in different geographic regions to address how policies can better meet the needs of refugees and migrants, whether these individuals leave their homes due to conflict, climate change, or in search of better opportunities. We are also particularly interested in understanding how local/sub-national contexts may shape outcomes relating to social integration, welfare, and political engagement.
