Research Reach

Get the chance to reach out with your research! As a fellow, you will be featured in GLD's networks and have your work disseminated to a wider audience. When writing a working paper with GLD, you will get the opportunity to get assistance promoting your paper through policy briefs, podcasts, social media, and infograpics. We also encourage fellows to spread awareness about the work of other GLD members to relevant actors and communities.

Available Assistance

Access our rich GLD datasets, perform insightful analyses, and get assistance in your work from our data team while doing so. All Fellows will get 2 hours of free data-related project or paper consultation from our statistician, as well as the opportunity to learn new methods and tools to improve your skills. You are also guaranteed 20 hours of research assistance per semester from GLD’s research interns, including literature reviews, fact-finding, referencing assistance, etc.

Community Competence

GLD wishes to promote an intellectual community where academics and practitioners can learn and work together. Fellows will be a key part of this collaborative community by participating in GLD seminars and workshops, connecting with the GLD network, and attending our 2023 Annual Conference (for free).

What's expected from fellows?

  • Attend the GLD 2024 Annual Conference.

  • Engage in GLD seminars and workshops.

  • Produce a working paper for the GLD Working Paper Series, a GLD Policy Brief, or other contributions determined in consultation with the institute.
