Daniel Appiah

Daniel Appiah, Lecturer of Public Administration at the University of Ghana, Department of Public Administration and Health Services Management.

Daniel received his PhD in Politics from the University of York in the UK under the Commonwealth Scholarship programme. He holds an MPhil in Public Administration from the University of Bergen, and a BA in Political Science (Major) from the University of Ghana. Using the theoretical perspective of state effectiveness as equal treatment of citizens, Dr. Appiah’s recent research focuses on processes of constitutional reform, inclusive governance, public sector reform, local governance, democratization, public accountability, gender equality, and land administration.
