Dave Namusanya, Postdoctoral Researcher

Dave holds a PhD in Sociology from Abertay University (United Kingdom) where his research explored climate resilience in rural Malawi. Previously, he worked as a Research Social Scientist at the Malawi Liverpool Wellcome Programme in Blantyre, Malawi. He has contributed to several peer-reviewed journals and academic books, addressing topics such as community resilience, climate change adaptation, health equity, and knowledge production. His work continues to explore how grassroots strategies can enhance both environmental and public health resilience, informing policies that support sustainable, community-led recovery in the aftermath of global crises. His interdisciplinary research majorly relies on qualitative methods to better understand resilience-building.
