Abdallah Sami Abulouz is a research intern at GLD, who works with the GLD in the MENA project.

Abdallah is a social anthropology researcher. He wrote his master's thesis on "Acculturation and Cultural Identity: The Case of Millennial Saudi Born Palestinians Returnees to Jordan." Last year, he worked as a research fellow at Columbia Global Centers | Amman, focusing on the discursive changes in Palestine representations in the Saudi Curricula over the past thirty years. This project is part of his broader study on the sociopolitical history of Palestinians in Saudi Arabia. His research interests revolve around the intersections of sociocultural history, identity, and politics.
