Xiomara Antuane Seminario Candiotti is a research intern at GLD during the fall of 2023.

Xiomara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies with a major in Sociology, and she is currently doing her second year of a Master’s degree in Social Scientific Data Analysis at Lund University. She has volunteered for an NGO in Peru dedicated to promoting young women’s right to education. Xiomara also worked for a non-governmental organization in Peru, where she was part of the research team, in charge of developing reports on diverse themes that evaluate the impact of public policies in the country. Her research interests are socioeconomic development, national and international migration, labor market study, and social network analysis.
