Megan K. Baxter, Associate Researcher 

Megan earned a bachelor´s degree in Development Studies and a master´s degree in Global Studies, both with a major in political science and from Lund University (Sweden). She previously worked as a Research Assistant on the multi-department Civil Society Elites? research project at Lund University. Megan presented a co-authored paper at the 2022 ESA Political Sociology Conference, which has just been submitted to be published. Her research areas of interest are global and local justice, human security, sub-national and national democratization, and democratic backsliding, as well as LGBTIQ human rights.
