GLD Interns
Each semester, GLD welcomes interns from various fields within social sciences and data science, including Political Science, Gender Studies, Global Studies, Social Sciences, Economics, Statistics, and IT. Our goal is for all interns to acquire new skills, gain valuable experience in a research setting, and boost their employability by applying their academic knowledge in real-world situations.
Interns Fall 2026
Jiaqi Zhou is GLD's data intern for the fall term. He is currently in his second year of the Computational Social Science master’s at Linköping University, where he has taken a particular interest in what actually makes institutions and governance hold up under pressure — and what makes them fall apart.
At GLD, he is looking forward to working on real fieldwork and data instead of simulations, putting his R and network-analysis skills to use on questions that matter, and learning survey methodology from an experienced team.
