Our Research

Governance and Local Development Institute (GLD) conducts research on governance and local development worldwide. We investigate why some societies are more successful in providing welfare, education, and healthcare. Our research focus is on understanding how state and non-state actors influence local factors such as poverty, gender equality, and diversity.
