Samuel Tafesse Wakuma
Senior Data Analyst and Survey Manager
Samuel has a Master’s degree in Environmental Economics and Management from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. He is interested in experimental and survey analysis methods applied to developmental issues. His role at GLD includes the development /implementation of analysis plans, exploring new analysis methods, and assisting in the interpretation of results. Prior to joining GLD Samuel worked at the Environment for Development(EfD), School of Business, Economics and Law, University of Gothenburg.
Starting in Summer 2026, Samuel is also a Data Analyst at the Varieties of Democracy (V-Dem) Institute at the University of Gothenburg.
