Lauren Yehle

Lauren is a PhD student in Political Science at the University of Gothenburg. She studies the political feasibility of environmental policy. Specifically, she investigates how compensation for industry and individuals can make ambitious environmental policies more acceptable among both organized interests and the public.
Her work combines public opinion research with political economy to understand how governments can design environmentally effective and politically feasible policies. Alongside her dissertation, she is working on the ERC-funded project Fem-LEAD, studying how natural disasters shape political behavior and institutional and political trust.
