Cecilia Ahsan Jansson

Cecilia Ahsan Jansson is a final-year PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Gothenburg. Her research lies at the intersection of political economy, behavioral economics, and applied microeconomics. She studies how people respond to information and how social and political conditions shape beliefs, decision-making and interactions with institutions, combining survey and field experiments with administrative data. She is currently focusing on whether politically salient information shocks influence people's interactions with the state, and whether these effects spill over across public institutions.
